Start with a realistic distance, not just a state
A search within the same state can still involve considerable travel. Say whether you want to stay in your city, can travel for introductions, or would consider moving. A person in a neighbouring state may be more practical to meet than someone elsewhere in your own state.
Discuss the time and cost of visits, work schedules and family commitments before assuming a long-distance introduction can progress. If you broaden your search across time zones, agree times when both families can participate.
Describe the Muslim home you want to build
Use your profile to explain religious practice, marriage expectations and everyday priorities. Talk about access to a masjid, family support, work and where you would want to raise children. A shared religious label is a starting point for these conversations.

Include your wali even when family lives elsewhere
Women need recorded wali details before accepting a conversation request on Sunnah Match. Sharing those contacts and connecting an Active Wali are separate steps. A connected Active Wali has read-only conversation access.

Creating your account and profile is free. Sending introduction requests requires paid membership. Recurring membership and one-payment Unlimited access are separate purchase options.
Check the currency, price, renewal terms and request allowance shown before paying. Read what is free and what membership includes. A dollar symbol alone should not be used to infer which currency a checkout is charging.
Searching locally or across borders
You can register from the US and consider members elsewhere. State whether relocation is realistic before investing in an introduction. Location preferences do not guarantee suitable members nearby.
